You will be treated to a spectacular London theatre program featuring some of the best performances of the West End, National and Fringe Theatre. A number of backstage theatre tours are included that will allow you fascinating insights into stage production. Other highlights include a relaxing cruise along the majestic river Themes to charming Greenwich, designated a world heritage site, it is home of the Prime Meridian and rich in maritime and royal history. Travel to Shakespeare country, along the river Avon to Stratford where you will enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and tour the picturesque Cotswold, with its’ lovely limestone houses and medieval past. Day 1 & 2 London
Begin your vacation with an overnight flight to London. On arrival you will be taken on a spectacular panoramic city tour taking in such sites as Buckingham Palace home to Britain’s royalty since 1837, the 900 year old tower of London, site of famous executions and imprisonments and home to the Crown Jewels and the gothic Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Your day ends with a welcome dinner either at the hotel or a local pub.

Day 3 Globe Theatre – West End Theatre Performance
Your day begins with a tour of the Shakespeare Globe theatre. Complete with an authentic thatched roof, the Globe is a reconstruction of the original where many of the Bard’s first plays were performed. In the evening, you will delight in a theatre performance in the famed London West End.

Day 4 River cruise – Greenwich -_Royal National Theatre
This morning embark on a fascinating and relaxing Thames river cruise. You will experience London’s landmarks, such as St Paul’s Cathedral and the London Eye, in a unique way as you meander down the river to picturesque Greenwich
Stroll through beautiful Greenwich Park which dates back to the reign of King Henry VIII. The park houses the Royal Observatory; designed by sir Christopher Wren, the National Maritime Museum and The Queens House, Britain’s first purely classical building.
In the afternoon you will take a fascinating backstage tour of the Royal National Theatre, renowned for its unrivalled range of award wining productions. *Optional evening performance.

Day 5 Stratford-Upon-Avon – Theatre Performance
You will travel through the heart of England to the Birthplace of Shakespeare. Situated on the River Avon, Stratford resembles a lovely Tudor market town with its half-timbered architecture and tranquil tree lined river walks. You will visit Shakespeare’s birthplace and a matinee theatre performance. The day ends with dinner in the picturesque Cotswold.

Day 6 Free Day – Optional Fringe Theatre Performancee
Today you are free to explore the city on your own. *In the evening you can take the opportunity to sample London’s Fringe Theatre scene. Equivalent to New York’s ‘Off Broadway’, London’s Fringe theatres allow new writers to hone there skills and offers some of the most interesting and thought provoking performances in the city. You can choose from The Gate Theatre which sits above a pub in famed Notting Hill Gate or Southwark Playhouse – A hothouse of new writing, directing and acting situated in a Victorian warehouse.

Day 7
The tour comes to an end with a transfer to the airport for your return journey home
